My name is Juan Manuel, although many know me as Juanma Soynadie. I started my career in journalism as a photographer in Madrid, covering police news. From there, I ventured into the world of society, fashion, and entertainment across the European Union. However, my constant desire for growth led me to a more challenging field: conflict zones and wars, where I worked as a freelance correspondent. I have documented the harsh reality of war, capturing moments of agony, courage, and occasionally, hope, in some of the most dangerous regions of the world. My camera is an extension of myself; each image and video I take is a testament to human suffering and resilience in the face of the most extreme adversity. I have worked for leading international news agencies, and my photographs have been published in renowned media outlets worldwide. I created the Deep True Project platform, with DeepSafe as its valuable engine that links AI with Blockchain and metadata to protect, validate, and encrypt data, photographs, videos, and audios. DTPMail is the email and messaging system with counterintelligence-level encryption, while DTPNews serves as the feeder for OK! News, an agency I created to combat fake news that has tarnished journalism. Currently, I am developing dtPhone and dtpOS, operating systems aimed at restoring privacy to internet users and preventing persecution, data theft, and state terrorism. My work also includes collaborations with humanitarian organisations, as well as conferences and talks where I share my experiences as a journalist in war zones. I have had the honour of being recognised for my professional work and receive regular invitations to speak at the Complutense University and other universities across Spain and Europe, as well as at private companies and organisations. The videos are available online. I invite you to follow my work on my social media. If you are interested in collaborating with me to continue covering war zones or in sponsoring and supporting the Deep True Project with donations, I would be delighted to speak with you. And if you’re in Madrid, feel free to invite me for a «caña» at James Joyce in Plaza Cibeles.
